AUSTRALIANS IN PARIS FRENCH WIN ON SETS (Reed July 12. 2.30 p.m.) PARIS, July 11. In the final match of the tennis tournament between Australia and France Crawford and McGrath defeated Bernard and Petra, 14—16, 6—3, 3—6, 6—4, 6—2. France and Australia won an ccjuai number of matches. The umpire decided to count the sets, thus giving France the victory. France won by six matches, 21 sets and 199 games, against six matches, 17 sets and 180 games.
