TROOPS ON MONT BLANC
LOFTY SUMMIT CROSSED (Reed. July 7, 2.30 p.m.) CHAMONIX, July G. An unprecedented event took place when the Mont Blanc summit, at an altitude of 15,782 ft.. was crossed in a body by a detachment of 52 troops from an alpine training centre.
