AMALGAMATION OF CLUBS FINANCIAL DETAILS (Pur Press Association.) TAURANGA, this day. At a meeting of the Opotiki Jockey Club and the Bay of Plenty Racing Club it was unanimously resolved that both clubs should amalgamate* and race in future in Tauranga. It was resolved also that approximately £I6OO now held by the Opotiki Club should be appropriated by a donation of £6OO to the Opotiki Hunt Club, the balance to be transferred to the amalgamated club, and that also £IOO annually should be donated to the Opotiki Hunt Club for 10 years so ilha't the present financial members of the Opotiki Jockey Club can be admitted to membership for five years free, Opotiki to have three members and one vice-president on the committee. Opotiki life members are to be admitted as life members of the amalgamated club. A sub-committee was appointed to revise the rules to give effect to the resolution.
