POVERTY BAY V. PARK WEEK-END FIXTURE During the week-end a team of players of the Gisborne Park Golf Club will play an inter-club match against members of the Poverty Bay Golf Club on the Awapuni links. CUP ROUND The qualifying round for the D.C.L. Cup will be played on Saturday by members of .the TJisborne Park Golf Club and the best 32 net cards will qualify for match play. LADIES’ GOLF GISBORNE PARK (’UUP Owing to the inclement weather lasi ■.vcck-end the attendance on the Gisborne Park Club's links was small. The vase test round was won by Miss J. Armstrong with -a net score of 33. The holders of the stars, Mrs. McKeague and Miss Ladd, lost them to Mrs. Winter and Miss Winter by three strokes. The present holders will play the challengers, Mrs. Stratton and Miss B. Cox, during the week-end. The following is the draw for the match to be played this week-end in connection with the first round for Miss L. ITaisman’s trophy: Miss Hockley and Miss Winter; Miss McMurray and Miss Wheeler; Miss Kinder and Miss.
