WOMEN’S TEST PLAY
VICTORY TO ENGLAND MARGIN OP 25 RUNS ( Klee. Tt'l. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. .June 30, noon.) LONDON, June 29. England won the women’s cricket test against Australia by 25 runs. The Australian women cricketers who in the first innings made 302 runs, scored 126 in the second. Miss Holmes made 33, Miss Pritchard 41. and Miss George 34. Miss Hide took five wickets for 20 runs, Miss Whelan three for 45, and Miss Maelagcn two for 29.
Following their first innings score of 222, England in the second made 231. Miss Maclagen contributed 49, Miss Hide 31, and Miss Lowe 57. Miss McLarty took two wickets for 25 runs, and Miss Antonio five for 31.
