INDUSTRIALIST’S VIEWS FEARS FOR THE FUTURE NEED FOR FOREIGN LOAN (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. June 1, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, May 31. The Prague correspondent of the Daily Herald says that Herr Hitler is alarmed by a secret memorandum from German industrial leaders expressing their dissatisfaction with the present conditions and grave fears for the future. The memorandum, which urges a reduction of taxes and a more conciliatory foreign policy, declares: “At least 50 per cent of Germans are living on money derived directly or indirectly from the Government. (Selfsufficiency in regard to foodstuffs has not been achieved.” The memorandum states that the life of Germany can only be restored by a big foreign loan, possibly from the-United States.
