Captain Walter Kien/.le and Lieutenant Gunther Seliul/cpianck, whose exchange as prisoners of war was arranged subsequent to their capture by Ihe Spanish Government forces at Bilbao and their sentence to death. The two Germans arrived at. St. .lean do l.ti/ aboard the f/rancli gunboat Audacieiise.
