AGED WIDOW SUCCUMBS
STRUCK BY TRAMCAR FATALITY IN OTACIO (Per Press Association.) DUNEDJN, this day. Admitted unconscious to the hospital on Tuesday from injuries received when she, wa.s knocked down by a tramcar. Rebecca Smith, a widow, aged 83 years. died yesterday afternoon. At the inquest, the medical evidence was that, the deceased had progressed satisfactorily and was to be discharged to-day. The cause of death was coronary thrombosis. None of {he injuries was sufficient to cause death by itself. The inquest was adjourned.
