FINANCES OF ALBERTA
REFUSAL OF LOAN DOMINION GOVERNMENT EDMONTON, May 20. The Dominion Government has rejected the request made by the Premier of Alberta, Mr. W. Aberhart, for a loan of £530,000 to meet a loan maturing cm Tuesday.
Mr. Aberhart will now apply to the Bank of Canada.
