CHICAGO STRIKE RIOT
TWENTY MEN HURT POLICE USE BATONS CHICAGO, May 20. Twenty strikers were injured, two seriously, when 1000 men marching upon tlie Republic Steel Corporation plant, were beaten back by police armed with riot clubs. Several shots were fired, but all denied firing them.
The strikers are attempting to force the closing of the plant which is operating on a curtailed basis.
