MANY FEARED DEAD
DISASTER IN MEXICO SEARCH FOR VICTIMS MEXICO CITY, May 28. In the town of Tlalpujahua, Michqacan, part of which whs overwhelmed by mud and sand from the metal cyanide workings of the Dos Estrellas Mining Company following the collapse of a dam yesterday, 2000 miners using lanterns, havo been searching the debris for bodies. Villagers, who fled to the mountains when 3,000,000 tons of mud poured over the town, have returned to help in the search. Many families have reported that members are missing, resulting in estimates of the dead being increased to, possibly, 500.
