SPELLMAN-RUMBERG MATCH FOR JUNE 5 Disappointment which may still linger among followers of wrestling concerning the last professional bout staged by the Gisborrio Wrestling Association should be wiped out by the announcement that Hal Romberg 'is coming to Gisborne for a contest next month, with John Spefiman as his opponent. Tho match has been offered to the Gisborne association by the New Zealand union for immediate acceptance, and no time was wasted in forwarding confirmation of the fixture. The date on which Rumberg and Spellman will meet is June 5, and when they step into the ring here it will mark their lirst meeting as opponents. _ Tho last occasion on which Runilieig wrestled in Gisborne was some lour years ago, when "Bad Boy .Jack Patterson was disqualified for persisting with a strange-hold after being ordered to break. Rumberg, who at that time was fresh to New Zealand was picked as iv first-class prospect on his Gisborne showing, and he finished the season .', s one of the three most popular matmen in the country.
