EUCHRE TOURNAMENT

The winners of the euchre tournament held in Tikiwhata last Wednesday were Mrs. Deverv and Miss E. Smith, and Messrs. 11. Crack and Callaghan. Mrs. J. Davin and Mr. Spillane were the winners of the points prizes in the last tournament.
Mrs. H. Fuller was hostess at a small informal party last week-end. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. H. Fuller, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Kelly; Misses S. Reilly and M. Smith; and Messrs. 11. Crack and G. Breingan. Cards and games were played, and a delicious savoury supper was served by Mrs. Fuller.' Mrs. E. Kelly was visited last Wednesday by her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. R. Richardson, Gisborne, her skster, Mrs. J. Bradley. Hastings, and her aunt, Mrs. W. Richards, New Plymouth. Her visitors spent a very enjoyable day inspecting the various works on this section. Miss F. Richardson spent last weekend with her parents in Gisborne.—Mr. and Mrs. O. Pavamo have returned after a short stay in Gisborne.—Mrs. G. Murray is a visitor to Gisborne.—Mr. and Mrs. T. Callaghan were in Gisborne last week-end.
