GUESTS AT PALACE
TWO THOUSAND PRESENT
LONDON,-May 26.
The wearing the full-dress uniform of the Cameron Highlanders, and the Queen, gowned in gold brocade, were the host and hostess at Buckingham Palace, where more than 2000 guests, attended the second State ball of the reign.
Their Majesties entered tho ballroom at 10' p.m. Thirty-one members of the Royal Family were present, besides 17 members of foreign royalty.
Queen Mary, who is celebrating.her seventieth birthday, had a place of honour next to Their Majesties on the dais.
