For the second time within a Jew weeks, M l ’. and Mrs. G. Dale, of Remuera, have been involved in a motor smash.
Recently they spent a month in the Blenheim Hospital as the result of injuries sustained when Mr. Dale was driving on Dion's Back llill, Marlborough. The ear left the road, crashing through a. wire fence and fell 3Coft, Mrs. Dale suffered a broken arm and was badly bruised. Mr. Dale suffered a broken shoulder and severe concussion. While out driving yesterday for the first time since their return to Auckland, their taxi collided with a large saloon car at the intersection of Domain street and Grafton road. Mr. Dale suffered two broken ribs and Mrs. Dale, who was m the back seat, was badly shaken. Both are being treated at home hv their own doctor. Their daughter, Geraldine, aged 14 years, was admitted to the hospital suffering from concussion and is in a serious condition. Mrs. Neville Dickey, aged 20, was admitted to the hospital with a possible fracture of the pelvis. Her condition this afternoon was reported to he satisfactory.
