OVER 100 MILES HOURLY
CORONATION SCOT TRAIN NEW ENGINES APPEAR (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 1.30 p.m. RUGBY, May 20. The London Midland Scottish Railway Company'h new streamlined express train, the Coronation Scot, made its first appearance as a complete unit 10-day. The engine is the first of live locomotives of this type which will draw the Coronation Scot on the 400 miles London-Glasgow route in six and ahalf hours. It weighs over 160 tons and is expected to draw a train weighing- 297 tons at a speed of over 100 miles an hour.
