PROBLEMS STILL ACUTE

LONDON, May 26. Mr. Anthony Eden, the Foreign Secretary, in. a speech, to the International Journalists' Association at Geneva, said that the international tension had appreciably eased, largely as a result of conversations held in London at the Coronation time.

The problems were still acute, and the tragic conditions still persisted in Spain, but there was a wide-spread impression that the situation was now less tense, and that an era of international opportunity might be at hand.
