ENGINEER'S REPORT

Reporting in connection with the proposed formation and metalling of, an uncompleted' gap on Stafford's road, I'elnri,' between the junction with the Hahgaroa-Tahpra road and, the start.of the .present metalling, a distance of approximately 22 chains, the Cook County engineer, Mr. K. F. . Jones, advised yesterday's meeting of the council that the estimated cost was in the vicinity of £270. The route of that road would be "through the property owned by Mrs. Jeffries.
