Entries were smaller at to-day's Addiugtun market, and as a result recent values were well maintained.
Store sheep.—Lambs, both ewe and wether, recovered their value by about Is 6d a head. Ewe lambs sold up to 265. Adult ewes were an inferior lot, one good pen of sound-mbuthed'S selling at 245. "Wethers were easier by Is.
Fat lambs. Twenty-thousand were punned, schedule values being maintained.
Fat sheep,—Five thousand three' hundred were penned as against 7COO last week. Heavy ewes were Is easier, but wethers maintained their prices, with a. (inning in the final stages lor si few good pens of prune. Best 30s to 365, good, 27s 6d to 29s 6d ; medium and interior, 26s down to 225; best ewes, 23s to 30s : good. 21s to 22s 6d ; ordinary, 18s to 20s; and inferior down to 15s. / Fat cattle.—Five hundred and twentyfive were pennedi Prime beef, of which there was a, smaller penning, were from par to a shade belter I ban last week and good heifers were the same. Inferior sorts were hard to sell. Fat pic's.—There was an. irregular sale for porkers, but good baconers maintained recent values. Porkers sold al from 25s Gd lo 51s Gd. The average price per lb beingi from S:M to (>'a\. Baconers brought £3 4s Gd to £5 Is 6d, the average price per lb being from sijd to 6'd.
