DISPUTE IN COVENTRY MEN OBJECT LONDON, March 22. For the first time in Coventry's ancient history, a woman—23-year-old Miss Lily Stevenson—has been made a freeman of the city. Men are attacking her election, women defending it. Involved in the dispute is property worth half a million pounds by ancient law owned by the freemen of Coventry, under trustees.
