Spicule, manager of the Australian Davis Cup team, was jubilant over the .tine showing of McUrath in two hours of work-out against Crawford. McClrath appeared lo he almost at, the |ieak of his form. Crawford also played the best tennis since his arrival. The members of the American team are also more cheerful, due to the return to form of Budge who practised with the professional. Ko/.eluh. and Parker. The latter was almost swept off the court when Budge got into his stride.
