Because harrying is such a clean sport, except for the'mud, and because much goodness and physical well-being arc derived, a cordial invitation is extended to all young men to join the Harrier Club.

There are joys for all kinds of runners and the good fellowship that exists in the club is much to be admired.

One or two of the younger runners are still taking things too seriously, perhaps, and arc advised to slacken their pace somewhat before things go' amiss. Those of the older runners who anticipate going to the llawke's Bay championships in August are warned that one should never put off till to-morrow that which can be done to-day. This applies to training. Start now and then when the time comes all will. he ready—not just, commencing or even half ready. Next week's run is to be a paper chase from the home of Mr. Ben Slade, all the runners meeting at the Cr.l'.O. at 2 ii.m.. no matter what, the weather is like.
