WIN FOR N.Z. ELEVEN MARGIN OP 158 RUNS HADLEE MAKES SIXTY WEIR IN BOWLING FORM (From the Special Representative of the United Press Association.) (Reed. May 26, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, May" 25. The New Zealand cricketers won the match against Staffordshire at Stoke on Trent by 158 runs.

Thanks to a chanceless innings by Hadlee and the useful eighth-wieket partnership of Lowry and Vivian, the New Zealanders were in a strong position, when they declared. .The second innings closed at 193 for eight wickets, leaving Staffordshire., to get 255 in 2i hours.

Hadlee hit five fours and three threes through cover point. Lowry played a characteristic innings, scoring with quick singles and cutting and driving Wakelin.

"Vivian hit three fours and a sixer into the backyard of a house. Wallace and Carson .were both out to miss-hits. Lamason showed improved form, driving past the fieldsmen confidently.

Yorkshire m their first strike made 405—Mitchell 88 and Barber 104— and in the second innings lost live wickets for 166 runs. Sussex in their first scored 566—John Langridge 175 and H. Parks 104.

Lancashire beat Warwick by an innings and 134 runs. The winners in the first declared with six for 358 Hop wood 98. Warwick's first produced 134—Sibbles, five for 51—and followed on for 110—Pollard, four for 44.

Essex won by 102 runs over Hampshire. Their first innings saw 149 runs raised—Herman, seven for 57—and in the second 381—Nichols 120. Hampshire in their first made 136, and in the second 193-P. Smith, six for 34.
