ROUND THE COAST
MINISTER'S ITINERARY INTEREST IN SCENIC ROUTE (Herald Special Reporter.) OPOTIKI, this day. Weather and road conditions being reported sufficiently good to warrant a reasonably quick passage—though not too smooth—round the East Coast road as far as Te Araroa, live Ministor of Public Works, the Hon. R. Semple, left Opotiki this morning on the first stage of his coastal tour, the real purpose of his visit to the Bay of Plenty electorate. The Minister was looking forward keenly to seeing the road of which so much has been heard in respect of scenic attractions, as well as of developmental value. His tour is being made under the ciceronage of Mr. A. G. Ilultquist, M.P. for the Bay of Plenty electorate, and the itinerary of the party provides for its arrival in Gisborne on Friday evening.
