An order for possession within three months was made this morning by Mr. 10. L. Walton, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court in favour of Grundy and Sherman, Limited, who proceeded against Alan Houghs Handlant. Evidence was given that Sandlanf had been asked to vacate Ihe premises on account of I rouble with the other tenant, in Ihe building. He was not in arrears with his rent. When asked to leave his premises in Bright street he had made inquiries and had been unable to malic suitable arrangements, and then there were other circumstances (hat had been disturbing to him since that date.
Two charges against. Vivian S. Bolton, lite licensee of the Orniond Hotel, for keeping his premises open I'm- the sale of liquor after closing hours and for selling liquor after hours 011 March 7, and one charge against Then Arthur Bolton for supplying Phillip Benson and T. I l '. Bowes with liquor after hours, were heard this morning before Mr. E. L. Walton. S.M.. in the Police Court. Senior-Sergeant J. i'. 11. Maenamara. who prosecuted, said that, Benson was a patient of the. Cook Hospital and he asked that the case be dismissed without prejudice. Mr. Walton acceded to the request and all threo informations were dismissed without prejudice to further proceedings.
