RESCUE OF CREW

NEW YORK. March 6.

The Dollar Line, steamer, President Coolidgc, with 678 passengers aboard, rammed the oil tanker Frank Buck in a dense log.

The President Coolidgc rescued the crew of 36 of the Frank Buck, which immediately began to sink. The vessels drifted a mile before they broke apart. Tiie liner returned to port with her bow stove in above the waterline.
