The newly-formed Gishorne branch of the W.D.F.r. is making its first effort to-Taise funds to further the housekeeping scheme. The committee has arranged to hold a garden party at the home, of Mrs. B. It. Black, 12 Graham road, Kaifi, on February 19, at, 2 p.m. This will l>e an opportunity for everyone to meet Mrs. C. W*. 'Wilson, Dominion president, and hear about the work of the division. There will be many attractions besides the garden, including dancing on Hie lawn by pupils ol Mrs. deLaiitour. afternoon tea, competitions and stalls w'liere fresh country produce will be obtainable.
