BLENHEIM, this day. A sharp east to west earthquake, between four and five degrees on the Rossi-Forol scale,, was fell, at 1.21 this afternoon.

The shock lasted only a second or so, but disturbed the chime, of the war memorial clock. No damage is report ed.
