NEW STAR DISCOVERED
SEEN IX SAGITTARIUS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A cable message received from Melbourne by the Dominion Observatory, the original source of the message, being the International Astronomical Union. Copenhagen, gives details of the discovery on October'6 of a new star in the constellation Sagittarius and at present at a strength of sixth magnitude, about the limit of the naked rye's visibility. The position of the new star at nought 11..M.T." is given sis right ascension 18hr. n.smin., declination .videg. 21min. south. Whether it is gelling brighter or fainter is not. vi I known, cloudy skies hist evening' preventing any observation locally. „
