PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT KTNG LEADS CAMPAIGN LONDON, Oct. 7. The Daily Mail's political correspondent says it is understood the King's first' speech from the Throne at The State opening of Parliauie.nl on November 3 will announce the Government's plan for a nation-wide drive to make Britons fit and healthy, in which subject the King is taking a personal interest. The schemes already being considered include the establishment of gymnasiums in every town in the countrv, additional swimming pools, and more open spaces and sports fields; also an intensive campaign to educate the nation on the. necessity of a higher standard of physical fitness. One of the first measures will lie designed for the welfare and physical care of children after leaving school.
