PROTEST FROM DANZIG
DECISION AT GENEVA NAZI PAPER'S OUTBURST LONDON, Oct. 7. A message from Danzig states that Heir Clreiser, president of the Danzig Senate, has sent a note to Geneva protesting against the decision of the Council of the League of Nations to appoint a new High Commissioner in place o' Mr. Scan Lester, llcrr Greiser complains that the decision was taken 'ii the absence of the Danzig delegation and therefore is onesided. The Verposten, the Nazis' Da uzig journal, accuses the council of impoliteness, saving': "We aren't Kaffirs, but the Government of a sovereign State." It ignores Hie fact that Heir ('.reiser refused in advance to send a representative to Geneva. The Dailv Telegraph's Berlin correspondent says that llcrr Oroiser's policy is undoubtedly inspired by the German Foreign. Office, because it is no secret that Danzig is being administered and controlled from Berlin. The Borsen Zeitung describes the League. Council's decision as a disguised attempt to disturb Ihe good relations between Oermauv and Poland and that the only result'will he to remove in German' eyes, the last vestige of bclicj in the League's ability to reform ilselt.
