PARENTS FINED £2

818 MING HAM, Aug. 21

William Henry Hawkins, aged 32, a window cleaner, of Wilson road, Handsworth, Birmingham-, and his 28-year-old wife Qucenie went out one evening. They left behind their three-year-old daughter and their nine-month-old son. The little girl went out in the streets. She was found, her nightdress dreilched, crying in the dark. She was taken to the police station. This happened four times. To-day Hawkins and his wife were each fined £2 at Birmingham Police Court for neglecting their children.
