SHOW STOCK TRANSPORT
HELP FOR EXHIBITORS The l’ovcrty Bay A. and P. Association, in conjunction with the carriers, will organise transport of Show cattle, sheep and pigs. The carriers approached have willingly offered liberal eo-opt’ra-tion, and special terms to assist Show exhibitors, 'those desiring to take advantage of the organised transport must notify the Show secretary not latci than'October 17, stating the exact locality from which exhibits are to he lifted, and undertake to lacilitaie the picking u]i of their stock. In cases where the cost of transport under this arrangement exceeds ,2s per head on sheep, 5s per head on pigs, or Cl per head on cattle, the association will contribute towards the additional cost an amount up to hut not, exceeding the entry tec (computed at members rates) -on tin exhibit. Cartage costs up to the above figures will be apportioned amongst tin exhibitors concerned in any particular transport. No responsibility will he accepted in this connection by the association, and exhibits will be carried at the risk of owners. Exhibitors are. reminded that entries close on Saturday next.
