Dunedin.—Oct. 6: Arrived, Gale, at 5 a.m., from Bluff.
Special services were held at Knox Church, Ngaruawahia, on Sunday, to commemorate the diamcmd jubilee of the formation of the Presbyterian parish in 1876. Dor six years prior to the formation of the parish, services wore held in a building erected by the military authorities, the first minister being_thc ReV. Thomas Stewart. The present church building was erected in 1919 on a. section given by the late Mr. Thonlas Paterson. Tlie golden Jubilee .was celebrated in 1926.
