The Sydney Morning Herald, commenting on the Metropolitan race of yesterday, says that Young Crusader recorded one of the most remarkable wins yet witnessed in the Metropolitan. _ Taking full advantage of the light weight, lie had all the other runners struggling hard, from the half-mile. Even his .strongest supporters did not anticipate that he would spreadeagle such a strong field.
