ADULTS AND JUVENILES MEETINGS OF TENTS Tin- fortnightly meeting of I lie Gisborne Juvenile Heehnbites was held last evening in the Selvyn Hall, Bro. Rodney McGregor, C.R V was in the chair arid presided over a large number oi members. One now member was initiated. The secretary presented the balancesheet- for the. recent bazaar and sale oi work. Members' were gratified that a profit of CIO 4s had been made. The next meeiing would take the form oi' a games night when ping-pong, escalade, and seallawng would be played. Members were asked io bring any table games they wished for 4tint- evening. It was stated that- the hilliardelte set had been loaned by llie adult tent for the evening.

The monthly meeting of the Gisborne I'ent. No. 54. was then hold, Bro. T. K. Wallen. C.R.. being in the chair. Correspondence dealt with included a circular letter from the health stamp campaign secretary, asking that the tent should help this object in some way. After much discussion it was decided to make a donation from the juvenile and adult tents and also to purchase, some of the stamps to he used on outward correspondence.

On behalf of the commit tee sd up to consider improvements to the juvenile Recliahite orchestra. Bin. R. 11. (lark read a draft copy of rules and regulations. The Gisborne Tent, No. 54. said Bro. Clark, stood as an adviser or guardian to the juvenile Reeliabiie orchestra and unless suitable rules were drawn up and carried out, the tent was not. doing its duly to the young players. Tim rules were drawn up with Ihe idea of helping all members and lo administer Dio finance when the necessity arose. The tout- was not being dogmatic in the matter.
