MANY BURGLARIES
No fewer than 65 informations have been laid against two men who were recently arrested in connection with a series of burglaries committed in Dannevirke and surrounding districts over the past five or six years. The charges will be beard at a sitting of the court to bo held at Dannevirke on October 15 and 16.
At present the office of the officer in charge of the Dannevirke police station resembles a second-band dealer’s shop, for it contains a- large quantity of property alleged to have been stolen from various residence?) in the district. Much of it awaits identification.
