THEFT OF CAR ADMITTED

WANGANUI, this day.. Philip Walter D’Arey Stewart, aged IS, 'before M.\ J. 11. Salmon, S.M., pleaded guilty to the theft of a ear valued at £23.0, the property of .Tack Herbert Luxford, which he drove to Auekland, where he tried to dispose of it. Accused was ' committed to the Wellington Supreme Court for sentence.
There were also five charges of conversion of cars and affixing the wrongnumber plate, sentence being deferred on the latter charge until after the Supreme Court hearing.
