GEORGE BEATS WOODS DUEL OF FOREARM JOLTS (Per Press Association.) * AUCKLAND, this (lav. Ed Don George, one of the world’s greatest professional wrestlers, made his New Zealand debut last night when he defeated Joe Kopneh Woods by two falls to one. George gained the first, fall in the third round with a body press following a light slain, the pair having previously exchanged forearm jolts. Woods evened in the fifth round in a similar manner, after having sent his opponent through the ropes with forearm jolts. George ended the routes, in the sixth round with a press titter felling Woods with forearm jolts and slamming him heavily several times.
