NAZIS ATTACK RUSSIA

INFLUENCE IN SPAIN "BOLSHEVIK CHAOS" BERLIN, Aug. 20. Attacks on Soviet Russia are renewed with increased bitterness to-day in the Gcrinan press.

"Tho impudence of the .Soviets," writes tho National-Zeitung of Essen, "knows no bounds. If the .Spanish civil war should develop into an international question iC would be due to .Moscow's ■ world revolutionary activities. "Soviet action in Spain forms an unusually flagrant case of interference and is a new proof that the Bolshevist leaders are more than ever resolved to further their plans for world conquest by all possible means. In this endeavour they and their agents, who are the ringleaders of the Spanish blood-bath, ignore the simplest laws of international courtesy." The Voelkisch Beobachter, the official organ of the' Nazi party, describes the Kainerun incident 1 as a proof that the Madrid Government is no longer in a position to control its adherents. "This piratical attempt," it declares, "shows that Bolshevist chaos has been unleashed in the parts of Spain under Marxist MOSCOW ORDERS "With the growing Bolshcvisation of Marxist Spain, the influence of international Bolshevist agents is becoming more obvious," it is added. "The Madrid Government lias not succeeded in standing out against the encroachment of Bolshevism pure and simple. "We recall the murderous slogans which the Moscow broadcasting station daily emits, and yesterday's order from Moscow to 'kill all priests.' M. Stalin, the Moscow dictator, is the military and political ally of the Paris Government, which is endeavouring to bring about an agreement among European States not to intervene in the Spanish civil war. "A non-intereference pact is, however, being rendered meaningless by developments in the Marxist parts of Spain, where now only the world revolution programme and the orders of Moscow hold sway. It is time that Paris not only brought its own 'sub-agents' of the Jouhaux type to reason but also brought pressure to bear on its allies in Moscow. "Germany, for her part, makes no effort to conceal the fact that she. is attentively following the dangerous developments in Spain and that she is resolved to oppose with all- the means at her disposal any new violation of la'w i by the Red hordes in Spain. Germany regards the situation as verv serious."
