Light to moderate southerly breezes were reported north of Gisborno, and light northerlies further .south. The Imrometer showed little movement. Temperatures at !> o'clock were: Auckland 58 degrees, Tauranga (if), Opotiki and East Cape 57, Gisbome 62, Napier 50, and Wellington 55. Moderate or smooth seas were reported where.Last Night's Forecast A series of slight, westerly depressions has been crossing the Dominions, affecting principally the western and southern portions. Aii anticyclone is now approaching across 1 the Tasman Sea, but barometers are again falling over southeastern Australia. Winds: West, to southwest prevailing, hut veering again to north-west and later in places about, and south of Conk Shall: force light to moderate mainly, but strong in some exposed positions. Sea,-.
