GENERAL WOLFE
VICTIM OF T.B
TORONTO, Sept. 4
General James Wolfe, hero' oi t'ho Plains of Abraham, died of tuberculosis rather than from buttle wounds, Dr. J. A. Faulkner, Ontario Minister of Health, told a service club here to-day.
General Wolfe braved the rigors of war, rather than- the horrors of his mother’s pet remedy against tuberculosis, a potion of green garden snails and earthworms, said Dr. Faulkner.
Ontario spends more than £OOO,OOO annually in treating the disease.
