LIFTING OF BAN ON JEWS
REPORTED NAZI OFFER DENIAL FROM BERLIN LONDON, Oct. 2. A report received yesterday from •Geneva stated that the International Refugees Welfare Committee bad been informed that Germany was prepaied to authorise the return of 2000 Jewish doctors who have left Germany, if they were willing to join the army. This was regarded in Geneva as evidence that, Germany recognised the loss sustained by one branch of the science because of the racial crusade. The Daily Telegraph’s- Berlin correspondent says, however, that it is officially denied' that Germany is willing to lake back Jewish doctors. It is pointed out in Berlin that the- anti-Jewish laws apply to the army as well as to every other department of State.
