TORTURED BY THIRST
WITHIN SIGHT OF WATER BRISBANE, Sept. 23. Charles Harris, 64, invalid pensioner, of Dunwich, who was found by a search party to-day, had been three days without food and water. He was blackened by the sun, and his tongue and lips were swollen from thirst. Harris had collapsed within a few yards of the water supply tank. There were indications that he had tried to climb a ladder to reach tho water, but was too weak
