MURIWAI NEWS

MORMON CHURCH HUI (Herald Correspondent.) During the. week-end a liui was held in the Aluriwni pa, being attended by a large number of adherents of the Mormon Church. Oil Friday evening a very successful dance was held in connection with the liui, and as a result the funds of the church will benefit considerably.

Mrs. J. Dunlop, Muriwni, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. R. Moore, Ormond.— Mr. W. Lister, who has been visiting the Wairarapa, has returned to Muriwni. —Masters Phillip and Selwyn Murphy have returned to Wanganui Collegiate School, while Misses Juliet and Patricia Williams have, returned to Woodford House. —Mr. Alex. Dickson, Pakowai, is a patient in the Cook Hospital, Gisborne, undergoing treatment. —Miss C. A. Wyatt, assistant at the Muriwai School, lias returned after having been absent owing to illness. —Miss L. Allen, who has been relieving assistant at the school, has returned to Gisborne.
