MIDNIGHT CITY ARREST
DRUNKEN CAE DRIVER AUCKLAND £25 .FINE (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Arrested' at 12.50 o’clock this morning in Queen street, Adam Dunn liankine, aged 28 years, a barman porter, pleaded guilty in the Police Court to a. charge of being in a. state of intoxication white in charge of a. motor car. The police said that a. constable stopped tlm car, which hud. only one headlight. Eankine, who was driving a. rental car, was fined £25, or m default was sentenced to gaol for three months. His license was cancelled fora year. Fourteen days were allowed to pay the fine.
