ENTRY BY FIRE ESCAPE
GAOL FOR SIX- [MONTHS
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day
Tn the Supreme Court to-day, Robert John Dias, aged 29. who climbed a tire escape in broad daylight, and entered the warehouse of Ross and Glendinning, Limited, pleaded guilty to a. charge of breaking and entering and theft.
“Drink is the cause of his trouble,’ said Mr. F. W. Schramm, who appeared for the ,prisoner.
Mr. Justice Johnston sentenced the accused to gaol for six months.
