ROTARY CONFERENCE

NEW ZEALAND’S TURN

MANY OVERSEAS VISITORS

For the first time, in the history ol the Rotary movement, the biennial p:mPacific conference will be held in New Zealand, at Wellington, from Monday, March 1, until .March 7. next year. A special committee of the Wellington Rotarv Club has been working lor some time arranging details for tin- reception of visitors -and planning the eonterenee generally. It has been, estimated that possibly 250 Rotarians from overseas and 400 from all parts of New Zealand will be present. Outstanding business and professional men are expected from Chinn, Japan and the East, and from various countries in South America. H is also anticipated that there will lit 1 many visitors from America, Canada and Australia-. The last Pacific, conference was held al. Manila, and was attended by several New Zealanders. Previous conferences were held at Honolulu, Sydney and Tokio. The conference committee is as follows:—Air. J. Al. A. Holt, chairman,Mr. E. Harper, secretary, Sir Alexander Roberts, Mr. If. E. Anderson, Air. F. Campbell and Air. G. Young.
