There were 19 members ot the Clydebank Settlers’ Association present, at the annual meeting at which Mr. 11.. B. Taylor was in the chair. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr. H. IS. Taylor; secretary and treasurer, Mr. N. McLernon, who was highly complimented on bis good work.
It was decided to meet quarterly to deal with tins wants of the district, and the secretary was instructed to write to tho Farmers’ Union suggesting that a veterinary surgeon should lie appointed for the county. It was felt that (lie area involved and the value of the stock trade warranted this request.
