CARROLL DEFEATS BISHOP MELBOURNE, Sept. 20. In a bout resembling an exhibition rather than a serious boxing contest, Jack Carroll, 10.fi, easily accounted for the former lightweight champion, Herb Bishop, 10.1!. Bishop retired after 12 rounds with an injured rib.
